These music channels may be played continuously, and the listener will simply tune in and listen to the music that the station is playing. However, if a listener wants to listen to a particular song being played on one of the music channels, the listener must know the channel or change the channel. For example, if a listener wants to listen to a particular song being played on a sports channel, the listener would have to turn to the sports channel to listen to the music on the sports channel, and then manually return to the music channel to listen to the particular song. This is inconvenient for the listener and, moreover, may be hard to follow the ongoing conversation and/or game of the sports event.
Other services, such as conventional Internet-based music services, are accessible only from a personal computer (PC). These services typically require the user to log onto a PC, navigate through the web-site menus and/or search the website for the particular song or artist, and then select the song for listening.
